The food is b... read more Set in an industrial estate on the outskirts of Gente, near Cognac, this great find is well worth a visit. The quality of the food is outstanding. The food is basic French country fare. There is a choice of main courses and the starter is a buffet (well stocked with plenty of variety). The décor is melamine basic but it is the patrons that give this place its character. Most of the packed lunch clientele come from the surrounding industrial units. The staff are wonderful and efficient. With the house wine you should allow 20 euros per head. All in all well worth a trip if in the area.
