The dishes were all delicious from the entrance to the dessert (I think I spent the evening repeating oh it's too good that the quantities were perfect. wines (and I'm very difficult on it) I didn't understand the negative opinions I could read about the reception because we were extremely well received. the staff was very attentive and smiling and he made us the evening very pleasant a big thank you to them. Despite our ignorance re speaking French we were welcomed with s smile and managed to order the food and wine. The food was delicious and the wine well priced. A good find and worth a visit for lunch. Three courses and wine for € 52, can't be bad.

There was an air of professionalism as the staff effortlessly glided between orders with a smile and a kitchen producing a sublime meal that was as good as any we have had in Italy in recent years. So glad we came here in the end, we asked to charge our phones and we were allowed! You could go to some fancy restaurant and you wouldn’t get the service like you got there. The manager was lively towards the children and gave them sweets at the end of it. The service was always with a smile and you would not find a place like that anywhere else. We were given an option on wether to sit inside or outside but told we were going to benefit better if we sat outside. I would recommend this to anyone in Rouen who likes a nice Italian or mediterranean.

Les Doges is... read more We came upon this restaurant by accident and would recommend rue Cauchoise for nice restaurants, close to the market square but much less touristy. Les Doges is a delightful, small Italian restaurant. We had not booked but we're lucky to get in as a party of five and were warmly welcomed. So many good choices on the menu- the veal escalope, veal steak, fillet steak and scallops with risotto were all excellent. Would definitely recommend this gem of a restaurant.
