Every dish was tasty and had some traditional and complex flavours! The wines also paired very well with the dishes! Excellent service! The only thing I can maybe fault is the interior of the restaurant being a bit out dated.Will definitely be back.

To s... read more I had a world-class experience at Overture. The dishes were exceptional, complemented by a guava purée palate cleanser designed to enhance the entire menu. To start, the restaurant treated us to biltong ash and a candle made from animal fat, served alongside freshly baked bread. The views and gardens at Hidden Valley were breathtaking. The house wine was excellent, and there was a great selection of South African gins for gin enthusiasts. Bertus Basson truly crafted a remarkable dining experience for his guests.

We chose the 5 courses menu, there was a three courses option, but we were intrigued by everything we read on the list. It's a pity that we couldn't make wine pairing, but that's the rule for Level 4 . We'll be back soon, food was good and very well refined. Do not be worried by the size of the dishes at the beginning of the meal, you will not starve.

We were treated by our company to a successful project start at Overture and we were thoroughly pampered! First, the views of Hidden Valley SPECTACULAR! Truly, they are among the most beautiful views in the wine areas, if not in Cape Town. The overture itself offers an incredible view from the dining area. The interior is very spacious and surrounded by glass windows. The food was very good. We were treated to a 5-course menu and each meal was fresh and tasty and the selection of wines we were given were delicious. The service was top-notch and we were very well looked after. A fantastic experience all around!

Dishes was perfectly executed and flavours well balanced. Exceptional wines available (although very expensive). Overall a bucket list entry I can check off and very satisfied with that.
